This is a CLC assignment.
In your CLC groups, research multicultural education and develop a historical timeline in a 10-15-slide PowerPoint presentation that includes facts, details, and dates of the history of multicultural education in the United States.
Early Childhood Education students should help the group understand the historical perspective of the Birth to Age 5/Pre-K environment by including one or two slides addressing this historical perspective.
Include at least 10 illustrations that help with comprehension of the historical content.
Use the GCU Library to research a minimum of five peer-reviewed articles that can be used in support of your content.
Include slide notes, background materials, title slide, reference slide, etc., when submitting the assignment to the instructor.
While GCU style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using GCU documentation guidelines, which can be found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
