Now that we are covering organ systems, select a disease of interest or one discussed in your text to research and write about (previous or future chapter).

 

Requirements:

3 complete typed pages of content, 1 literature cited page (sources cited in text) – all double-spaced pages including the following:

Paper Content

1. Title (5%)

2. Body of paper (80%)

  • Name and Classification of Disease (ex. Inherited, Infectious, etc.) -20%
  • Pathology of Disease – origin, characteristics, system/organs effected, functions/processes effected – 20%
  • Symptoms – 20%
  • Treatment – 20%

3. Literature Cited or bibliography (on a 4th separate page): – 15%

2 required literature sources (publication or internet science source, other than your textbook) ***
