In preparation for the transition to ICD-10, develop a circular/flyer for your staff. Your document should not be more than 1 page in length. It will serve as a reference tool for staff.

This document will:

  • Provide an overview on the purpose of coding.
  • Note the difference between ICD-10 and ICD-9.
  • Indicate a target date for your facility’s transition.
