Second reply, week 7

Good afternoon everyone,

In the two section videos I learned about the hypothesis test. A hypothesis test, the way I understand it to be, is the process in which you test a claim regarding samples among a certain group. We utilize the null hypothesis, which is the original claim, and an alternative hypothesis, which is the complement of the hull hypothesis, meaning it’s the complete opposite of what you’re claiming. We use the level of significance as a probability of rejecting the claim, or what I’d say is the percentage.

I would like to introduce my problem as: A restaurant claims that the mean delivery time is less than 30 minutes. You sample the delivery of 50 orders with a sample mean of 26.5 minutes and a standard deviation of 2.0. Is there enough to support the claim at a level of significance at 0.02?
